About Yves

“Own only what you can carry with you; know language, know countries, know people. Let your memory be your travel bag.”
– Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918 – 2008)

Yves Bennaïm is an Online Branding Specialist, Web Strategy Consultant, and Logo Designer.

Born in Geneva, he traveled as far and as much as he could, and called “home” Brisbane, Paris, and Tokyo.

Yves is always looking for new things to learn and that’s one of the reason why he loves the Internet. Online since 1992, he began offering web design services in 1996, became Art Director at Lycos in 2000, built and managed Japan.com in 2003. He worked as an Internet consultant for clients such as Mitsubishi Electric, Park Hyatt, and AOL. Recently, he was a producer at one of the rare Chinese Internet ventures successful in Japan.

In general, Yves loves design, problem solving, creativity, and everything that challenges the brain, the eyes, the taste buds, or a mix of all of the above. His hobbies include everything and anything artistic, and what’s clever but not pretentious. An enthusiast of “ideas worth spreading”, he also organises the TEDxGeneva conferences.

Overall, Yves spends too much time in front of a screen.
